Sony confirms August launch for FlexStrike fight stick and 27-inch gaming monitor
Sony has finalised release dates and pricing for its latest gaming hardware, including a new fight stick timed with a fighting game release and a high-refresh-rate monitor designed for console and PC use.

Sony has confirmed that its new FlexStrike fight stick and a 27-inch PlayStation-branded gaming monitor will launch in August, with preorders opening in June. The Japanese technology giant provided specific pricing and release timelines for the peripherals, which are part of its expanding lineup of gaming-focused hardware.
The FlexStrike fight stick is priced at $199.99 and will be available from August 6. This launch date coincides with the release of the fighting game Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls. Preorders for the controller begin on June 12 at 10AM ET. The device includes a built-in rechargeable battery and a sling carry case. While initially compatible only with the PS5, Sony confirmed that PC support will be rolled out post-launch.
The 27-inch gaming monitor is set to launch on August 27 at a price of $349.99. Preorders for the display open earlier, on June 5 at 10AM ET. The monitor features a 2560 x 1440 IPS display with variable refresh rate (VRR) support. It offers refresh rates of up to 120Hz with PS5 and PS5 Pro consoles, and up to 240Hz when connected to compatible PCs or Macs. A dedicated pop-out hook on the rear of the unit allows users to charge a DualSense controller.
In addition to these immediate releases, Sony reiterated that its Pulse Elevate wireless speakers will launch later this year. The audio devices were first announced in September of the previous year, but the company has yet to disclose specific pricing or a precise release date. Sony stated that more details regarding the speakers would be shared soon.
The structured rollout of these products suggests a coordinated strategy to capture market share in both dedicated console peripherals and broader gaming hardware segments. The inclusion of PC and Mac compatibility for the monitor indicates an effort to appeal to a wider audience beyond the PlayStation ecosystem.
