James Tibbs III of the Los Angeles Dodgers has emerged as a standout offensive force in Triple-A, posting a .321/.430/.723 slash line with 11 home runs in his first month at the level. While his power numbers are tied for the minor-league lead, analysts note that his 29 per cent strikeout rate and 68 per cent in-zone contact rate present challenges for consistent contact upon reaching the majors.
AJ Ewing of the New York Mets has similarly impressed with a 1.053 OPS in Double-A before earning a promotion to Triple-A, where he announced his presence with a three-hit debut. The 21-year-old shortstop, who lacks significant home run power, compensates with a terrific approach and plus-plus wheels, recording 70 stolen bases in 2025 and hitting .315/.401/.429 last season.
On the pitching front, Kade Anderson of the Seattle Mariners made his professional debut in Double-A with a dominant performance, recording 11 strikeouts across just 70 pitches in five innings of work. The 22-year-old left-hander, selected third overall in the 2025 draft, has allowed only one earned run in 18 and two-thirds innings across his first four outings, though he has not yet reached Triple-A.
Emmanuel Rodriguez of the Minnesota Twins has displayed elite power in Triple-A, recently registering the highest exit velocity of any batted ball at that level with a 118.3-mph home run. The 23-year-old centre fielder has posted a 141 wRC+ through his first 23 games, though his path to the majors may involve a shift to left or right field due to the presence of Byron Buxton.
Snelling of the Miami Marlins leads Triple-A arms with a 37.6 per cent strikeout rate, having allowed just 11 hits across 24 innings of work in five starts. The 22-year-old left-hander, who leads the league with a 95-mph heater, faces uncertainty regarding his place in the rotation behind established pitchers but warrants a major-league evaluation given the team's need for an upgrade.
Lagrange of the New York Yankees has averaged 99.3 mph fastball velocity in Triple-A, throwing 25 pitches in excess of 101 mph including a 102.6-mph bolt that ranks as the fastest in the league at that level. While the pending returns of Gerrit Cole and Carlos Rodon make a rotation spot unlikely, the Yankees may consider calling him up as a high-leverage weapon for the bullpen.
