Natalia Silva claimed the vacant women’s flyweight title by defeating Wang Cong at UFC 332 in Salt Lake City. The card also set modern-era UFC records for total knockouts, first-round knockouts and consecutive first-round knockouts, according to CBS Sports.

CBS Sports named Valentina Shevchenko as a possible first challenger if she is healthy and plans to return after vacating the title due to injury. Alexa Grasso was offered as an alternative, with the outlet suggesting a rematch could make sense if the UFC wants a quicker return to action.

For Wang, CBS Sports proposed a bout with the loser of Erin Blanchfield’s fight against Jasmine Jasudavicius, scheduled for 17 October. It framed the pairing as a chance for that fighter to regain ground after a loss.

Payton Talbott called out Sean O’Malley after beating Deiveson Figueiredo. CBS Sports suggested Cory Sandhagen instead, while noting an O’Malley fight could depend on UFC 333’s title outcome. It proposed Marcus McGhee as a possible opponent for Figueiredo.

The outlet also suggested Renato Moicano or Tom Nolan for Esteban Ribovics, and the loser of Dan Hooker’s fight with Brian Ortega for King Green. These remain CBS Sports matchmaking proposals, not announced UFC plans.
