Serrano matches knockout record as Han claims lightweight title in Texas
Amanda Serrano equals the women’s boxing knockout record with a second-round stoppage, while Stephanie Han defeats Holly Holm in a split decision.

Amanda Serrano has equaled the record for the most knockouts in women’s boxing history, securing her 32nd victory by stoppage during a bout against Cheyenne Hanson in El Paso, Texas. The 37-year-old retained her WBA and WBO featherweight titles with a dominant second-round performance that saw the contest waved off.
Serrano controlled the encounter by pinning Hanson, who is 28 and from Germany, in the corner before unleashing a flurry of unanswered punches. This result marks the first time Hanson has been stopped inside the distance, cementing Serrano’s status as a leading figure in the sport’s women’s division.
In the co-main event, Stephanie Han secured the WBA lightweight title by narrowly defeating former UFC star Holly Holm. The bout concluded via split decision, with one judge scoring the fight even at 95-95, while the other two judges awarded the victory to Han at 96-94.
Following the decision, Han called for a bout with Katie Taylor, stating it was her next desired matchup. This request contrasts with Holm’s pre-fight intentions, where the American had expressed a desire to make a statement before challenging Taylor in Ireland.
The undercard featured several title defenses across different venues. Desley Robinson retained her IBF and WBO middleweight titles with a wide unanimous decision against Mary Spencer, while Lourdes Juarez held her WBC light-flyweight title via a split decision against Yokasta Valle.
Additionally, O’Shaquie Foster retained his WBC super-featherweight title with a majority decision against Raymond Ford. Foster’s bout took place at the Fertitta Center in Houston, separate from the main card in El Paso.
