Screen Burn Interactive sets September 2026 launch for Silent Hill: Townfall
The studio formerly known as No Code confirms the PC and PlayStation 5 release date for the game set on the fictional Scottish island of St. Amelia.

Screen Burn Interactive has confirmed that Silent Hill: Townfall will launch on PC and PlayStation 5 on 24 September 2026. The first-person horror title is developed by the studio formerly known as No Code, which previously created the critically acclaimed games Stories Untold and Observation.
The game is set in the 1990s on St. Amelia, a fictional, fog-shrouded Scottish island that has been mysteriously abandoned. The narrative follows Simon Ordell, who wakes up in the waters surrounding the island and uses a portable television to navigate the environment while being pursued by monsters.
Townfall is played from a first-person perspective, a viewpoint that is rare for the Silent Hill series. The gameplay appears to incorporate puzzle elements alongside horror and familial drama, set against a backdrop of red-lit terrors.
The release forms part of Konami’s wider strategy to revitalise the Silent Hill franchise. This broader effort includes the Silent Hill 2 remake developed by Bloober Team and Silent Hill: f, which is being developed by NeoBards Entertainment with psychological horror writer Ryukishi07.
Silent Hill: f is set in a rural Japanese town in the 1960s and stars high school student Shimizu Hinako. While the source material describes it as an excellent installment featuring melee combat and monsters derived from childhood trauma, specific details regarding the full scope of the turmoil and monsters on St. Amelia remain unconfirmed.
Konami’s franchise expansion also includes Silent Hill: Ascension, though details regarding that project have been less prominently featured in recent announcements. The studio has not yet revealed the full contents or specific nature of the threats awaiting players on St. Amelia.
