The search for Clarke’s successor is being managed by SFA chief executive Ian Maxwell and chief football officer Craig Mulholland. Mulholland, who was appointed to his executive role in May, is leading the recruitment effort alongside Maxwell. Clarke’s departure ends a seven-year tenure as head coach, despite him signing a new four-year contract in May prior to the tournament.
