Roborock Saros 20 drops to new low of $1,359.99 during Amazon Prime Day
The Roborock Saros 20, previously rated highly by The Verge for its navigation and cleaning performance, is now available at its lowest price point through Amazon and the manufacturer’s website.
Amazon Prime Day has triggered a significant price reduction for the Roborock Saros 20, a high-end robot vacuum and mop hybrid. The device is now available for $1,359.99, marking a $240 discount from its standard retail price. This represents the lowest price recorded for the unit to date. The sale is active on both Amazon’s platform and the official Roborock website.
The Saros 20 is positioned as a premium cleaning appliance, featuring 36,000Pa of suction power. It utilises a DuoDivide brush designed to resist hair tangles, reducing the frequency of manual maintenance required by users. Independent testing conducted by The Verge’s Jennifer Pattison Tuohy noted that the device excels on hard floors, picking up dust and pet hair effectively. Tuohy observed that only another model, referred to as the Matic, performed better on hard surfaces.
Beyond suction, the unit offers comprehensive mopping capabilities. It employs a pair of spinning mop pads rather than a traditional roller, which Tuohy found to be more effective at scrubbing tile floors and cleaning along grout lines. The system supports warm-water mopping and features pads that automatically detach and reattach to ensure carpets remain dry during vacuuming cycles.
The accompanying docking station automates much of the maintenance process. It automatically empties the dustbin, washes, and dries the mop pads. According to the manufacturer, the dock can operate for up to 65 days between required dustbin changes. The unit also includes Matter compatibility, allowing for voice control via major smart home platforms.
Navigation performance has been a key focus in independent reviews. Tuohy reported that the Saros 20 was the first robot vacuum she trusted to clean every room without getting stuck. Its low-profile design allows it to slip under low furniture, and it demonstrated the ability to climb two-inch thresholds and navigate thick rugs without obstruction.
