Redmagic 11S Pro launches internationally with higher price and reduced memory
The international Redmagic 11S Pro features an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and liquid cooling, but starts at $849 with a cap of 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.

Nubia has announced the international launch of the Redmagic 11S Pro, a flagship Android gaming smartphone that marks a significant shift in configuration and pricing for the brand. While the device retains the core performance pillars of its predecessor, the 11 Pro, it introduces an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version processor and the company’s AquaCore liquid cooling system. The hardware package also includes a 7,500mAh battery, 80W fast charging, and a 144Hz display equipped with an under-display camera.
The most notable deviation from previous models is the reduction in top-tier memory and storage capabilities. The 11S Pro caps out at 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, removing the 24GB RAM and 1TB storage options that were available on the 11 Pro. Nubia attributes this downgrade to the ongoing global memory crisis, a supply constraint that has been widely referred to in the industry as "RAMageddon". This limitation represents a tangible impact of macroeconomic supply chain pressures on consumer electronics specifications.
Pricing for the international release has also increased, with the starting price set at $849 in the United States, up from the $749 launch price of the previous model. The price hike is partially offset by a standardisation of features; all models now include a semi-transparent rear panel designed to showcase the fluorescent liquid cooling effect, a feature that was previously available only as an optional upgrade. The international version is described as a hybrid of two Chinese variants, closely mirroring the specifications of the China-exclusive 11S Pro Plus.
The device’s cooling architecture remains a key differentiator in the gaming phone segment. The AquaCore system utilises a 24,000 RPM fan combined with a true liquid cooling solution, distinguishing it from the simpler vapor chambers found in many competing smartphones. This hardware setup is intended to manage the thermal output of the high-performance processor during intensive gaming sessions.
Sales for the Redmagic 11S Pro will commence on 10 June, following early bird access that begins on 3 June. Early customers can secure a $29 discount on the device. The phone previously launched in China on 18 May in two distinct versions, with the international rollout now bringing these specifications to a broader market.
