Ravens Unveil 'Next Flight' Uniforms Ahead of 2026 Season

The Baltimore Ravens have officially introduced their 'Next Flight' uniform collection, marking the most significant shift in the franchise’s visual identity in decades. The debut occurred during Saturday night’s preseason opener against the Philadelphia Eagles, providing the first extended view of the designs that will represent the team throughout the 2026 season.

Developed in partnership with Nike over a period of more than three years, the collection aims to modernise the team’s aesthetic while retaining the iconic elements that have defined the Ravens since their early years. The primary purple uniform features a midnight purple material designed to shift colour, a detail inspired by the iridescence of raven feathers.

Design updates extend beyond the base colour. The jerseys incorporate a collar pattern depicting raven wings, with talon-inspired details running along the pants. The white road jerseys have been updated to feature "Baltimore" across the front, distinguishing the away kit from previous iterations.

A notable addition to the collection is the new 'Darkness' helmet, created specifically for the team’s all-black uniform. This helmet features a matte-black shell, black talon stripes, and a two-tone logo with red eyes, giving the alternate combination a distinct visual personality. The collection also includes the 'Purple Rising' uniform, which continues the evolution of the alternate purple look introduced in 2024.

The unveiling coincides with the beginning of a new era under head coach Jesse Minter. While the visual changes are substantial, the franchise maintains that the core recognisability of the brand remains intact. The next phase involves assessing how the new designs translate from the stadium unveiling to on-field performance.
