Amazon’s Prime Day sale, running from June 23 to June 26, 2026, is offering substantial discounts on televisions and streaming hardware. The event features significant price reductions across various categories, with particular emphasis on art televisions and high-performance streaming devices. According to a report by WIRED, the deals represent some of the most competitive pricing seen for these categories, with some items discounted by nearly 40 percent.
A notable highlight is the 2025 Samsung Frame Pro art television, with the 55-inch model priced at $700. This price point is several hundred dollars cheaper than the newer Samsung Frame Pro model. The device features a matte display designed to reduce glare, allowing it to function as a digital art frame when not in use for viewing content. Samsung includes a wall-mounting bracket with the unit, enabling it to sit flush against the wall.
Amazon has also introduced the new Ember Artline, which incorporates similar aesthetic principles. The Ember Artline features a matte display and includes bezels and wall-mounting brackets. A key differentiator for this model is its integration with Alexa+, which allows users to generate AI artwork or match images to their room decor. Like the Samsung offering, it is designed to blend into home environments when not actively displaying video content.
In the broader television market, the Hisense U7 Mini-LED (2025 model) is powered by Google TV and supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision IQ, Dolby Atmos, and IMAX Enhanced. For users connecting high-end computers, the set offers a 165 Hz refresh rate or a 330 Hz variable refresh rate. Meanwhile, the TCL QM6K QLED TV (65-inch) is priced at $528, representing a 20 percent discount. This model uses QLED display technology for enhanced colour and contrast, featuring a 144 Hz refresh rate and running on the Google TV operating system.
Streaming hardware is also heavily discounted. The Roku Ultra streamer is noted for being approximately 30 percent faster than other Roku products. It features Dolby Vision, HDR10+, a backlit remote, and Bluetooth connectivity for headphones or speakers. For those seeking more local storage, the Fire TV Stick 4K Max includes 16 GB of storage and can automatically display artwork, although it lacks the matte display technology found in the Ember Artline.
