Phillies force decisive Game 3 after 10-inning win over Braves

Philadelphia tied its best-of-three series with Atlanta at 1–1, recovering from a two-run deficit before Alec Bohm’s homer settled Game 2.

The Philadelphia Phillies beat the Atlanta Braves 4–3 in 10 innings to keep their season alive and send their best-of-three wild-card series to a deciding game. Fox Sports reported that Game 3 is scheduled for Thursday in Atlanta.

Atlanta led 3–1 before Kyle Schwarber and Bryce Harper opened the eighth inning with consecutive home runs, drawing Philadelphia level.

Alec Bohm hit a solo home run in the 10th to put the Phillies ahead. The win leaves each team one victory from advancing.

Fox Sports also reported that the Yankees, White Sox and Padres advanced, while the Red Sox, Astros and Cubs were eliminated.
