Penn State football finalises 2026 recruiting class with four late enrolments

Penn State football has completed its 2026 recruiting class by adding four late enrollees to the roster. The additions bring the total number of players in the Class of 2026 to 15, a cohort that will be expected to contribute to a deep, transfer-heavy squad under first-year head coach Matt Campbell.
Among the new arrivals are defensive prospects Elijah Reeder and Keian Kaiser. Reeder, a four-star prospect from New Jersey, enrolled this month after previously committing to Iowa State. Campbell has referred to Reeder as the "hidden gem" of the recent recruiting class. Listed at 6-6 and 210 pounds, Reeder joins the defensive unit alongside linebacker Keian Kaiser.
Kaiser, a three-sport athlete in high school, enrolled alongside Reeder. His playing traits have been compared to current Nittany Lions players Caleb Bacon and Cael Brezina. However, Kaiser faces significant competition at the linebacker position, where the team already possesses considerable talent, potentially influencing his immediate role within the squad.
The remaining late enrollees are punter Lucas Tenbrock and offensive lineman Pete Eglitis. Their inclusion finalises the 15-player class, which Campbell will rely on to help fill out the roster for his inaugural season in Happy Valley.
While the recruiting class is relatively small compared to previous years, the integration of these late enrolments underscores the depth of the current roster. The team enters the season with a focus on leveraging both new talent and experienced transfers to establish its identity under the new coaching regime.
