The New England Patriots will host the Pittsburgh Steelers at Gillette Stadium on Sunday in an NFL Week 2 match-up scheduled for a 1pm ET kick-off.

New England opened the season with a 13-10 loss to Seattle, while Pittsburgh defeated Atlanta 20-13. The Steelers’ Aaron Rodgers threw for 221 yards and a touchdown in the win.

The Patriots are listed as 5.5-point favourites, with the total set at 41.5 points, according to betting information reported by CBS Sports. The figures are subject to change before kick-off and do not guarantee an outcome.

CBS Sports’ SportsLine Projection Model projects a Patriots win but favours Pittsburgh to cover the spread. The model gives New England a 57 per cent chance of winning and has Pittsburgh covering in 56 per cent of simulations.

The teams enter the fixture with differing records from last season. New England went 14-3 before losing the Super Bowl, while Pittsburgh finished 10-7, won the AFC North and lost in the wild-card round. Pittsburgh defeated New England 21-17 in Foxborough last season.
