Ondas subsidiary 4M Defense secures $10 million demining contract for Israel border initiative
The award under the Eastern Border Security Barrier programme validates 4M Defense's AI-enabled robotics platform for legacy minefield clearance.

On April 20, Ondas Inc subsidiary 4M Defense secured an initial order valued at $10 million under a broader $50 million demining programme. The contract supports Israel's Eastern Border Security Barrier initiative, a project designed to clear legacy minefields to facilitate the construction of new security infrastructure.
The scope of the work involves deploying 4M Defense's AI-enabled platform, which integrates autonomous ground robotics, aerial drones, and advanced sensing technologies. This automated approach is intended to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk when clearing hundreds of acres of land compared to traditional manual methods.
This award follows a similar $30 million contract previously secured for the Israel-Syria border. The combination of these concurrent awards brings the company's total active demining tender value to approximately $80 million.
Management views these contracts as validation of a scalable operating model, citing strong near-term revenue visibility and long-term expansion potential. The integrated system-of-systems framework ensures high-fidelity surveying and data processing to meet rigorous defence standards required for the region.
With additional orders expected throughout 2026 and follow-on phases planned, Ondas Inc is positioning its technology-driven land clearance solutions for broader international security and infrastructure markets. The firm operates through two main business units, with Ondas Autonomous Systems delivering the AI-powered defence platforms used in this project.
Ondas Inc (NASDAQ: ONDS) also provides private wireless solutions through its Ondas Networks division, which offers software-defined wireless broadband technology.
