Nintendo’s $500 Switch 2 bundle includes a game, and it’s available now
Console maker makes $499.99 package available at major retailers, including GameStop and Amazon

Nintendo has made its Switch 2 “Choose Your Game” bundle available for purchase through major retailers, including GameStop, Amazon, Best Buy, and the Nintendo Store. The package is priced at $499.99 and includes the console alongside a digital copy of one of three titles: Donkey Kong Bananza, Pokémon Pokopia, or Mario Kart World.

The bundle provides a discount of up to $30 compared to purchasing the hardware and software separately. While the Switch 2 console currently retails for $449.99 on its own, the included games carry a higher individual value. Mario Kart World is priced at $79.99, while Donkey Kong Bananza and Pokémon Pokopia are each priced at $69.99.

This offer arrives ahead of a scheduled price increase for the Switch 2 console to $499.99 in September. Although Nintendo had teased the bundle for early June availability, multiple retailers are already offering the package to consumers.

The Switch 2 features 256GB of internal SSD storage. Among the bundle options, Mario Kart World requires the most space at 22GB. For users anticipating a larger library, a 256GB Samsung microSD Express card is recommended to double the available storage. Such cards are currently available at Amazon for $47.99, down from $79.99.

To access the included software, consumers must enter a 16-character code provided in the bundle into the eShop during setup. The games are delivered as digital copies rather than physical media.
