The National Basketball Association has officially announced the 2025-2026 All-Rookie Teams, coinciding with the league’s annual award season. The selections honour the highest-performing first-year players across the competition, with Dallas Mavericks forward Cooper Flagg and Charlotte Hornets guard Kon Knueppel leading the First Team.

Flagg, who secured the Rookie of the Year Award in April, averaged 21 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game while shooting 46.8% from the field. His statistical output led all rookies in scoring, cementing his status as the standout performer of the inaugural cohort.

Charlotte Hornets guard Kon Knueppel also features prominently on the First Team, averaging 18.5 points per game. Knueppel established a new single-season rookie record for three-pointers made, sinking 273 shots from beyond the arc. This performance surpasses the previous mark of 207 set by Sacramento Kings forward Keegan Murray during the 2022-2023 season. Knueppel maintained a 42.5% success rate from distance, the highest among rookies who attempted at least 80 three-pointers.

The remainder of the First Team includes Philadelphia 76ers guard VJ Edgecombe, San Antonio Spurs guard Dylan Harper, and Memphis Grizzlies forward Cedric Coward. Edgecombe played in 75 games, averaging 16.0 points per game, the third-highest mark for a rookie this season. Harper appeared in 69 games, largely coming off the bench, and was noted for highlight-reel dunks down the stretch of the season. Coward played in 62 games, averaging 13.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 25.8 minutes per game.

The Second Team comprises New Orleans Pelicans guard Jeremiah Fears, Utah Jazz forward Ace Bailey, Sacramento Kings center Maxime Raynaud, Toronto Raptors forward Collin Murray-Boyles, and Pelicans forward Derik Queen. Charlotte Hornets centre Ryan Kalkbrenner received the most votes for the Second Team but did not make the squad, with eight other players also receiving second-team votes.
