NASA has announced events for MAX POWER, an aerospace expo and air show running from 6 to 8 November on and near Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

The agency says the expo will showcase aircraft, autonomous vehicles and technologies connected with the future of air and space. NASA plans to display its X-59 aircraft, while partners will exhibit Moon rovers and spacecraft.

Public event gates are scheduled to open at 9 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on 7 and 8 November. NASA says visitors will have opportunities to meet agency leaders, astronauts, engineers, scientists and other experts.

A news conference scheduled for 5 p.m. EST on 7 November will provide an update on NASA’s planned Moon Base near the lunar South Pole. The agency has not specified what the update will cover. Online coverage is planned.

NASA describes MAX POWER as the culmination of its recent Inspiration Tour, which included aircraft flyovers. Event times and activities are subject to change.
