NASA astronaut and Artemis II commander Reid Wiseman is scheduled to appear at the Baltimore Ravens versus New Orleans Saints game in Baltimore on 20 September as part of the agency’s Inspiration Tour.

NASA said Wiseman, a Baltimore native and 27-year Navy veteran, will highlight space exploration and aeronautics innovation. The agency describes him as an astronaut who has spent 175 days in space over two missions.

NASA’s Experience Zone is planned to operate outside the stadium from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. before the game. It will offer information about the Artemis programme, interactive games, a selfie station and photographs with a large inflatable NASA logo.

Wiseman is expected to be available for media interviews inside the stadium at 12:20 p.m., according to NASA.

The Inspiration Tour connects NASA with academic, industry and public-sector stakeholders supporting US leadership in space. NASA said the tour is due to culminate in the MAX POWER air and space innovation exposition on 7–8 November near the agency’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
