Nanoleaf enters desktop hardware market with $169.99 Smart LED Monitor Stand
The all-in-one solution features a 550-lumen front light bar and 102 addressable RGB zones, targeting users seeking to consolidate desk space and integrate lighting into their smart home ecosystems.

Nanoleaf has expanded its product portfolio beyond modular lighting panels with the release of the Smart LED Monitor Stand. Priced at $169.99, the device represents a shift into functional desktop hardware, merging ergonomic display support with integrated smart lighting technology. The stand is now available for purchase through the manufacturer’s website and Amazon.
Designed to optimise workspace ergonomics, the stand elevates displays by up to four inches to align with natural eye levels. It is engineered to accommodate screens up to 42 inches in length and can support a maximum weight of 154 lbs. The base of the unit includes 23 mounting holes, providing flexibility for attaching peripherals such as microphones or cameras, thereby helping to reduce clutter on the desktop surface.
The lighting system is a central feature of the hardware, utilising a dual-layer approach. A front-facing light bar delivers up to 550 lumens of illumination suitable for work tasks, while a rear ambient light system projects a 160-degree wall-washing effect. This rear component comprises 102 individually addressable RGB zones, allowing for precise colour customization and ambient effects that can sync with music or on-screen content via the Nanoleaf app.
Connectivity and integration are facilitated through Matter compatibility, ensuring the stand can function within existing smart home ecosystems. Users can control the lighting via the Nanoleaf app, which offers features such as Rhythm Mode and Screen Mirror to automatically adjust lighting based on audio or visual input. This integration aligns with Nanoleaf’s broader strategy of creating interconnected smart home environments.
The launch marks a diversification for the brand, which has historically been recognised for its sleek, modular lighting solutions. By introducing a product that addresses both physical workspace organisation and digital ambient lighting, Nanoleaf is targeting consumers looking for comprehensive desktop setups. The product is currently listed at $169.99, positioning it as a premium accessory for users seeking to consolidate hardware functions.
