Defending champion heads out at 1:35 p.m. amid $20 million purse event in Ohio

The 2026 Memorial Tournament is set to commence on June 4 at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio, with the field of 24 pairs scheduled to complete the first round by late afternoon. Defending champion Scottie Scheffler is slated to tee off in the afternoon pairing at 1:35 p.m., joining a roster that includes notable competitors such as Rory McIlroy and Justin Thomas, who are scheduled for the 10:25 a.m. start.

Upper Arlington native Jack Nicklaus continues to serve as the host of the event, which runs through June 7. The tournament features a total purse of $20 million, with the winner receiving a $4 million share. Betting markets have already begun to shift, with BetMGM releasing winner odds as of June 1, ahead of the first tee time.

The first round begins at 7:45 a.m. with Brian Campbell and Pierceson Coody, followed by a series of pairings that include Billy Horshcel and Sam Stevens at 8:15 a.m., and J.T. Poston and Ryo Hisatsune at 8:25 a.m. The morning session continues with Andrew Novak and Hideki Matsuyama at 9:10 a.m., and Justin Rose and Rickie Fowler at 10:00 a.m.

Mid-morning action features Cameron Young and Tommy Fleetwood at 10:10 a.m., while Kurt Kitayama and Michael Kim are scheduled for 10:35 a.m. The noon block includes Sathith Theegala and Si Woo Kim at 12:00 p.m., Harry Hall and Denny McCarthy at 12:10 p.m., and Harris English and Robert MacIntyre at 12:20 p.m.

The afternoon session sees Alex Fitzpatrick and Jacob Bridgeman tee off at 12:30 p.m., followed by Kristoffer Reitan and Maverick McNealy at 12:40 p.m. Ben Griffin and Brian Harman are scheduled for 12:55 p.m., Gary Woodland and Patrick Cantlay at 1:05 p.m., and Russell Henley and Matt Fitzpatrick at 1:15 p.m.

Xander Schauffele and Ludvig Aberg are set for the 1:25 p.m. start, preceding Scheffler’s 1:35 p.m. tee time. The first round is expected to conclude with Matt McCarty and Lucas Glover at 1:45 p.m., though source materials also list Min Woo Lee and Mac Meissner as the final pairing at 1:55 p.m.

Television coverage for the event will be broadcast on the Golf Channel and CBS.
