Aaron McKenna will challenge Etinosa Oliha for the vacant IBF middleweight championship at Zuffa Boxing 10 in Dublin on Saturday, 8 August. The bout marks a significant escalation in McKenna’s career as he seeks his first world title, facing an opponent who has maintained an undefeated record through consistent victories in Europe.
The event takes place at the 3Arena, with preliminary bouts commencing at 12:00 ET and the main card starting at 14:00 ET. The promotion, which is backed by UFC president Dana White, has positioned this card as a key moment for its roster, with McKenna arriving as the focal point of the Irish boxing scene.
McKenna, with a record of 20 wins and 10 knockouts, has recently stepped up the level of competition in preparation for this opportunity. His most notable recent victory was a unanimous decision over former world champion Liam Smith, secured on the undercard of the Conor Benn versus Chris Eubank Jr fight at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Prior to that, he defeated Uisma Lima in 2023, handing Lima his first career loss.
