The contest at the O2 Arena concluded with Littler averaging 104.11 to Humphries' 103.10. The match required a final leg to resolve after Humphries held the teenager to a single leg deficit, marking the fourth encounter between the pair in thirteen weeks. Despite the pressure, Littler claimed three legs on the spin in the final set, breaking in leg ten and converting his fourth match dart to seal the win.
This result places Littler just one night away from matching his record-breaking tally of six victories from the previous year. Humphries, who reached his second final of the season, failed to secure a first-night win of the year despite reaching the decider. The 2026 Premier League Darts format consists of sixteen initial weeks of league play, followed by quarter-finals, semi-finals, and a final each night.
