Logitech Unveils Ultra-Compact Mobi Fold Travel Mouse
Priced at $80, the Mobi Fold offers a 30-day battery life and Bluetooth connectivity for three devices, positioning itself as a modern successor to Microsoft’s Arc mouse line.

Logitech has entered the portable peripheral market with the Mobi Fold, an ultra-compact travel mouse designed to serve as a portable alternative to laptop touchpads. Positioned as a modern successor to Microsoft’s Arc mouse line, the device prioritises maximum portability, folding in half to measure 2.2 by 2.5 inches and weighing approximately two ounces. It features physical buttons, a central touchpad for scrolling, and Bluetooth connectivity for up to three devices. The standard model is priced at $80, with a business variant available for an additional $10.
While Logitech is established in the premium productivity mouse sector with products like the MX Anywhere 3S, the Mobi Fold is targeted at users seeking extreme compactness, potentially trading some ergonomic comfort and scroll smoothness for its foldable form factor. The device automatically powers on and off when unfolded or folded, and its ambidextrous design allows it to be used by both left- and right-handed users. However, reviewers have noted that the geometric design may not offer the same ergonomic comfort or scroll smoothness as traditional mice or Logitech’s own MX Anywhere 3S.
The Mobi Fold features physical left and right mouse buttons that are dampened to reduce noise, alongside a central touchpad that functions as a scroll wheel and middle-click button. Users can customise button behaviour via Logitech’s free Options+ companion app. The device supports Bluetooth connectivity for up to three devices simultaneously, with indicator lights to show the active connection. A USB-C port is located at the rear for charging, though the box does not include a cable or power adapter.
Battery life is a key selling point, with Logitech claiming up to 30 days of use on a single charge. A quick-charge feature provides 22 hours of runtime from a one-minute charge. Independent testing has shown the battery retaining over 70 percent charge after two and a half weeks of intermittent use, though the full 30-day claim is based on manufacturer specifications and has not been independently verified over that full duration.
The main drawbacks cited are the price and the ergonomic trade-offs. At $80, the standard model may be considered expensive for a niche accessory, and the business model with a wireless dongle costs an additional $10. The MX Anywhere 3S remains a competitor, offering longer battery life, a physical scroll wheel, and greater comfort for $90. However, for users who prioritise maximum portability and a device that fits into small pockets or bags, the Mobi Fold offers a compelling, albeit specialised, option.
