Earnings Preview: What To Expect From Live Nation Entertainment’s Report
Beverly Hills-based entertainment giant set to report after market close on Thursday, 6 August

Live Nation Entertainment is scheduled to release its fiscal 2026 second-quarter earnings on Thursday, 6 August, after the market closes. The Beverly Hills-based company, which operates an integrated ecosystem spanning concert promotion, venue operations, ticketing, and sponsorships, is valued at $42.5 billion by market capitalisation.

Analysts anticipate a diluted profit of $0.59 per share for the quarter, representing a 43.9% increase from the $0.41 per share recorded in the same quarter last year. For the full fiscal 2026 year, analysts expect a profit of $0.96 per share, a significant turnaround from the $0.24 per share loss in fiscal 2025.

The company’s shares have appreciated by 20.2% over the past year, outperforming the S&P 500 Index’s 18.2% gain and the State Street Communication Services Select Sector SPDR ETF’s 4.3% uptick. This outperformance is attributed to resilient demand for live events, record concert attendance, and strong ticket and sponsorship revenue.

Despite the positive momentum, Live Nation has missed consensus estimates in three of the last four quarters. The consensus analyst rating is “Strong Buy,” with 20 of 24 analysts advising a “Strong Buy,” one suggesting a “Moderate Buy,” and three giving a “Hold.”

The average analyst price target is $190.65, implying a potential upside of 5.4% from current levels. EPS is expected to rise 118.8% year over year to $2.10 in fiscal 2027, supported by robust forward bookings and rising deferred revenue.
