Best Buy has slashed the price of the LG 65-inch B6 OLED television to $1,399.99, marking the lowest price recorded for the model. The discount, part of the retailer’s Deal of the Day, is valid for the remainder of Thursday, 20 August 2026. The price represents a $300 reduction from the television’s previous best price and is currently $300 lower than the listing on Amazon.

The B6 model sits at the bottom of LG’s OLED tiers, positioning it as a more accessible entry point into the display technology compared to flagship options. Despite its entry-level status, the television features 4K resolution and a capable processor designed to keep applications running smoothly. While it is less bright than the higher-end C6 model, it remains sufficiently bright for most users and offers contrast-rich picture quality that distinguishes it from non-OLED alternatives.

Key specifications include a 120Hz refresh rate with variable refresh rate support for Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium. The television is equipped with four HDMI 2.1 ports, all of which support the full refresh rate, variable refresh rate, and auto low latency mode. One of these ports includes eARC functionality, facilitating a direct connection to a soundbar.

Best Buy is also discounting other LG products, including laptops and home theatre gear, as part of the same promotional event. The broader deal includes up to a $25 gift card with the purchase of digital games via DoorDash. According to The Verge, which reported on the promotion, Vox Media may earn a commission if purchases are made through their links.

The price cut positions the B6 as a competitive option for consumers seeking OLED performance without the premium cost associated with top-tier models. The availability of the deal is limited to the specified date, making it a time-sensitive opportunity for buyers looking to upgrade their home entertainment setup.
