Jurel says Sooryavanshi’s Powerplay aggression lifts other batters

Dhruv Jurel has praised Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s batting, saying the teenager’s aggressive approach in the Powerplay can encourage other batters to attack.
Speaking on Aakash Chopra’s podcast, as reported by Yahoo Sports, Jurel said he felt no jealousy and saw no useful comparison between them. He argued that comparisons make sense when players have similar skills.
Jurel described Sooryavanshi’s hitting as difficult to comprehend and said it made life easier for his teammates at the crease. Watching the teenager attack, Jurel said, could prompt others to take their own chances.
