Hoka Memorial Day Sale Offers Up to 20% Off Footwear as Brand Pushes Membership Retention
Discounts on key models like the Clifton 10 and Mach 6 coincide with a push for new membership sign-ups, which offer extended return windows and exclusive access to outlet events.

Hoka is conducting a Memorial Day sale that runs through May 26, 2026, offering discounts of up to 20 per cent on men’s, women’s, and children’s footwear. The promotion covers a range of popular models, including the Clifton 10, Mach 6, and Rincon 4. Specific markdowns include 30 per cent off the Speedgoat 6 trail running shoes, now priced at $108, and 20 per cent off the Mach 6, which represents a $28 saving. The Clifton 10 is also discounted by 20 per cent, bringing the total to $124, while the Bondi 9 sees a $35 reduction.
The brand is simultaneously promoting its membership programme to incentivise direct consumer engagement. New customers who register with both an email address and a mobile phone number, and reply ‘Y’ to a text message, receive a single-use code for free expedited shipping on their first order. This registration process also grants new members 10 per cent off their next purchase. Existing members benefit from 10 per cent off bestselling styles, free standard shipping on all orders, and access to an extended 60-day return window known as ‘Fly for 60’.
Hoka’s market position has evolved significantly since its inception in 2009. Initially gaining traction among trail and mountain runners, the brand achieved widespread mainstream popularity during the Covid-19 pandemic, driven by consumer demand for the comfort of its cushioned footwear. The Clifton series remains the brand’s most popular model, while the Speedgoat series is preferred for trail running and the Anacapa for rugged terrain.
Beyond the immediate Memorial Day promotions, Hoka is offering a limited-run outlet sale exclusively for newsletter subscribers. This event provides up to 30 per cent off selected styles and runs until 20 September 2026. The brand is also highlighting the all-new Kaha 2 Frost Moc as a waterproof option for colder weather. Members receive early notification of such promotions, new releases, and limited edition styles, alongside access to exclusive events, run clubs, and sweepstakes.
Standard customers benefit from Hoka’s ‘Fly for 30’ programme, which provides a 30-day trial period for returns or exchanges. The extended ‘Fly for 60’ window for members underscores the company’s strategy to use loyalty benefits to reduce purchase hesitation and increase lifetime value. Additional discounts include 30 per cent off Transport hiking and walking shoes, resulting in a $45 saving.
