Grid Dynamics Holdings Inc. unveils AI-native offering to help large enterprises tackle technical debt and legacy licensing costs

Grid Dynamics Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: GDYN) has unveiled an AI-native modernisation service on Microsoft Azure, marking a strategic expansion of its technology consulting capabilities. The announcement, made on May 26, introduces a new offering designed to assist large enterprises in managing mission-critical, high-transaction-volume legacy environments.

The service is powered by Grid Dynamics’ GAIN Platform for Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). It aims to address significant operational hurdles for clients, specifically targeting technical debt and legacy licensing costs. By integrating with Microsoft Azure, the programme allows clients to access free assistance, Azure credits, and funding for migration assessments.

Grid Dynamics intends to extend its AI delivery model to the Azure cloud platform, leveraging its existing expertise in application migration. The company states that the programme is designed to accelerate project delivery by over 30 per cent and fundamentally transform mission-critical systems to unlock further innovation.

The launch follows a shift in the company’s revenue composition, with AI-related activities accounting for 29 per cent of revenue in the first quarter. This represents an increase from 25 per cent in the prior comparable period, highlighting the growing weight of artificial intelligence in the firm’s business operations.
