GitHub makes redesigned dashboard its default view
The company says the redesign is intended to help users focus on relevant work; users can switch back to the previous experience.
GitHub has made its redesigned dashboard the default view for all users, moving it from feature preview to the standard experience, according to the company’s 1 October changelog.
GitHub says the dashboard is designed to help users focus on work that matters and make it easier to find and act on what they need next. The announcement does not detail individual features.
Users who prefer the previous dashboard can switch back at any time using the dropdown next to “Preview”, GitHub said.
The company invited users to post questions or feedback in a GitHub Community discussion.
