The New York Giants are exploring quarterback options after Jaxson Dart’s knee injury, with Fox Sports reporter Jay Glazer saying the team has contacted clubs and could add one or two players.
Glazer named Kansas City Chiefs backup Justin Fields as a player under consideration. He also identified free agent Jimmy Garoppolo as a possible veteran option.
Joe Flacco is not expected to be a target, Glazer said. The Giants have not called about Mac Jones and are not pursuing Gardner Minshew, according to his report.
Jameis Winston is set to start against Tennessee. The report does not confirm an offer, trade or signing, and gives no timeline for a completed move.
