Manchester United Women have four players selected for England youth squads, with the call-ups spanning the under-23 and under-19 teams, according to the club’s official website.

Jess Simpson was named in the under-23 squad, which is scheduled to play Norway in York on 12 October. No year was specified for the fixture.

Evie Mitchell, Lucy Robinson and Jessica Anderson will join England’s under-19 squad. Their fixtures include Denmark, Switzerland and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The call-ups follow recent opportunities for academy players at United. Yahoo Sports reported that six academy graduates featured in a 5–1 Players’ Cup win over Durham, where Lucy Newell made her debut and Mared Griffiths scored.
