Data cited in the analysis indicates a strong correlation between higher practical guarantees and improved roster success rates. Over the past three years, only eight players received guarantees exceeding $300,000. Of those, four appeared in 12 or more games as rookies, while the other four played in one game or fewer, resulting in a 50 per cent hit rate. In contrast, players who received less than $300,000 but made the roster last year accounted for just 10.3 per cent of that group.
The Chargers have placed the highest financial confidence in their undrafted class, offering offensive tackle Isaiah World a practical guarantee of $534,400. World, who was once considered a top-100 prospect before injury concerns affected his draft stock, is viewed as a potential quality swing tackle for the AFC title hopefuls. The Broncos have also invested heavily, with linebacker Taurean York receiving a $325,000 guarantee to compete at a position of need.
Other notable investments include Browns edge rusher Logan Fano, who received $310,000, and Colts linebacker West Weeks, who secured $286,500. The Indianapolis Colts paid out practical guarantees totaling more than $200,000 to five players, reflecting a broader strategy to bolster their roster through undrafted talent. The Chiefs also distributed significant funds, paying eight players over $200,000 each, with Cincinnati wide receiver Jeff Caldwell topping the list at $272,500.
The profile provides a team-by-team breakdown of prospects, detailing collegiate backgrounds and physical traits. For instance, the Ravens are expected to address their defensive front with Michigan's Rayshaun Benny and Graves, while the Jaguars, lacking a first-round pick, have devoted more financial resources to undrafted free agents, offering J'Mari Taylor and Bryan Thomas Jr. substantial guarantees.
