Ffos Las feature pits last-time-out winners against each other
Sixtygeesbaby and Safari Dream are set to lock horns in the headline handicap at Ffos Las, with the six-race card broadcast live on Sky Sports Racing.

The Ascona Ladies Fuelled By Fashion Handicap will serve as the feature race on Friday’s six-race flat card at Ffos Las, with coverage commencing at 2.10pm on Sky Sports Racing. The contest is headlined by two horses that have both won on their most recent starts, creating a competitive dynamic in a field of six runners.
Sixtygeesbaby enters the race seeking to build on a recent victory in a Carlisle handicap earlier this month. The horse has shown signs of a revival in recent outings, and a similar performance at Ffos Las would place him firmly in the mix for the win.
Safari Dream, trained by Rod Millman and ridden by Finley Marsh, is viewed as an obvious threat. The horse previously won over this course and distance and is expected to make strong appeal despite carrying a two-pound rise in weight. Pull The Rug is also identified as a potential contender from the remainder of the field.
The 2.45pm Ascona Ladies Chic Fashion Handicap features a notable contest between Kaleidoscope Eyes and Oviedo. Oviedo, who was third in an Acomb race in 2022, has demonstrated his ability by winning by 12 lengths at Ffos Las the previous week. He now carries a five-pound penalty for that victory. Kaleidoscope Eyes, an infrequent winner, scored on her last start after being narrowly denied at the same track in July.
The 3.20pm Ascona Ladies In Lace Maiden Stakes is described as a difficult affair with only three runners. Korbut, rated 73, has finished second in five of her seven starts, including her last four runs this summer, and is expected to make a bold bid if she can reproduce her latest performance on the turf.
Reader, saddled by Marcus Tregoning, is lightly raced and may have more to offer over the extra distance, while Likeness makes her debut for trainer Jack Channon after leaving the George Boughey team. Likeness, rated 74, returns from a 138-day break and is expected to be popular in the betting.
