The Jacksonville Jaguars face a notably challenging governance of their early season, with the first six games preceding their bye week described as difficult. This period includes Week 5 and Week 6 matchups against top-five defences located across the Atlantic Ocean, creating a brutal start that Smyth suggests will test the resilience of fantasy managers. Similarly, the Houston Texans’ defence, which led the NFL in fantasy points in 2025, confronts a tough early schedule that raises questions regarding their viability as a top-two fantasy defensive unit (D/ST) despite their historical strength.
