Replay officials overturned Anthony Volpe’s apparent two-run home run in the sixth inning of ALDS Game 3, ruling that a fan reached over the left-field wall and interfered with the ball.

Under MLB’s spectator-interference rule, officials place the batter and runners where they judge they would have ended up without the interference. The Replay Center said the ball would not have left the field or been caught by Rays outfielder Victor Mesa Jr.
