College pipeline ranking: Which schools produce the most Eagles players?
General Manager’s strategy prioritises established college football programs to build depth

An analysis of the Philadelphia Eagles’ roster indicates a clear preference for players drawn from major collegiate football programs, with the University of Alabama emerging as the leading source of talent. General Manager Howie Roseman’s recruitment strategy continues to prioritise institutions that produce NFL-ready athletes, a philosophy reinforced by the team’s current composition.

The Crimson Tide accounts for the largest share of the roster with eight players. This group includes quarterback Jalen Hurts, wide receiver DeVonta Smith, offensive linemen Landon Dickerson and Tyler Steen, tight end Cameron Latu, linebacker Jihaad Campbell, and undrafted rookies Jaeden Roberts and Deonte Lawson. The presence of players across both offensive and defensive units underscores the depth provided by the Alabama pipeline.

The University of Georgia follows as the second-largest contributor with six players. The Bulldogs’ influence is particularly evident on the defensive front, with Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, and Nolan Smith Jr. forming a core component of the team’s identity. The roster also includes Kelee Ringo, Smael Mondon Jr., and rookie offensive guard Micah Morris, further cementing the SEC-heavy defensive structure.

The University of Texas and the University of Mississippi each contribute five players to the Eagles. Texas’s representation includes Ta’Quon Graham, Jake Majors, Andrew Mukuba, Moro Ojomo, and Cameron Williams, with Ojomo already securing a role on the defensive line. Ole Miss is represented by wide receiver A.J. Brown, Elijah Moore, Chance Campbell, and undrafted rookies Kapena Gushiken and Dae’Quan Wright, highlighting Philadelphia’s recurring engagement with the Oxford program.

The University of Florida and Pennsylvania State University provide four and three players respectively. Florida’s contribution features Jonathan Greenard, Fred Johnson, Dameon Pierce, and undrafted rookie long snapper Rocco Underwood. Penn State is represented by Saquon Barkley, Tariq Castro-Fields, and pass rusher Arnold Ebiketie.

The analysis also notes two unique cases on the roster: Uar Bernard and Jordan Mailata, who did not attend college. Their inclusion contrasts with the broader trend of targeting players from established collegiate programs known for producing size, speed, and competition-tested talent. This approach traces back to the 2020 draft decision where Roseman selected Jalen Reagor over Justin Jefferson, a move that has since shaped the team’s focus on proven college production.
