Sportsbook aligns promotional incentives with key matchups featuring the Royals, Dodgers, Phillies, and Cardinals

DraftKings has launched a promotional campaign for new users, offering $150 in bonus bets following an initial wager of $5 or more. The offer coincides with Monday’s Major League Baseball schedule, specifically targeting interest in the Kansas City Royals versus Los Angeles Dodgers and the Philadelphia Phillies versus St Louis Cardinals fixtures.

The promotion leverages statistical analysis from SportsLine’s projection models, which simulate MLB games 10,000 times to identify betting value. For the Royals-Dodgers matchup, the model backs Kansas City to cover the +1.5 run line, citing a 59% probability of success in simulations. This recommendation is supported by Kansas City’s recent form, having covered the +1.5 run spread in four of their last six games.

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Tarik Skubal, a back-to-back Cy Young winner, is set to make his second start for the team after a 5-1 loss to the Cubs in his debut. Despite Skubal’s 2.81 ERA for the season, the model identifies value in fading his performance relative to the run line. SportsLine player props expert Alex Selesnick noted the Royals’ low strikeout rate against Skubal, highlighting that Kansas City has struck out a combined six times in their last two games.

Kansas City is starting pitcher Noah Cameron, who has allowed just one run in 23 innings over his last three starts. In contrast, the Dodgers have struggled recently, losing eight of their last nine games. The model projects strong value at +114 odds for the Royals to cover, suggesting that the team’s health and historical performance against Skubal present a favourable opportunity.

In the Philadelphia-St Louis contest, the SportsLine model backs the Under on total runs, projecting a total of Under 9. The model indicates a 60.1% probability of the Under hitting, based on trends such as the Under being 8-3 over the last 11 Cardinals games. St Louis is starting Hunter Dobbins, who holds a 3.60 ERA this season, while Philadelphia is starting Andrew Painter, who has allowed only three runs over his last 10 innings.

The promotional offer allows new users to claim the bonus bets by placing a first wager of $5 or more. The SportsLine Projection Model, which is currently on a 42-29 run on top-rated MLB picks, suggests that combining these selections into a parlay could yield significant returns, though odds are subject to change. The campaign aims to direct user attention to these specific statistical opportunities within the broader MLB Monday slate.
