DraftKings promotes bonus bets ahead of NBA Finals and MLB fixtures
Sports betting platform DraftKings is offering $200 in bonus bets for new customers placing a first $5 wager, coinciding with Monday’s major sporting events.

DraftKings has launched a promotional campaign offering new users $200 in bonus bets immediately following an initial $5 wager. The offer is timed to coincide with the San Antonio Spurs versus New York Knicks NBA Finals Game 3 and Monday’s Major League Baseball fixtures. The promotion is accessible via a specific promo code, with full details available through the platform’s review channels.
The NBA Finals matchup sees the New York Knicks return to Madison Square Garden with a 2-0 series lead over the Spurs. New York enters the contest on a 13-game postseason winning streak, having not lost since April 23. The Knicks have been particularly dominant at home during the playoffs, holding a 6-1 record with five of those victories decided by at least 10 points.
SportsLine’s Projection Model backs the Knicks to win and cover as 2.5-point favourites against the Spurs, with an over/under set at 216.5 points. The model projects New York to cover in 56 per cent of simulations. This analysis follows a Game 2 victory in San Antonio, where Karl-Anthony Towns recorded 21 points and 13 rebounds, despite Jalen Brunson shooting 33.9 per cent from the field.
In player props, SportsLine expert Doug, known as Prop Bet Guy, has highlighted Knicks wing Mikal Bridges. Bridges scored 20 points on efficient 8/13 shooting in Game 2 and has cleared his point line in nine of his last 11 games. The expert notes that the matchup suits Bridges’ shot profile, citing the Spurs’ weakness against mid-range jumpers.
The promotion also extends to MLB, where the model backs the Toronto Blue Jays to defeat the Philadelphia Phillies in their series opener. Despite the Phillies’ overall ERA of 1.46, their road ERA stands at 2.73. The model projects the Blue Jays to win in 56 per cent of simulations. Combining the Knicks, Blue Jays, and Bridges prop into a parlay would result in a payout of +718.
