Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Miguel Rojas will miss Game 4 of the National League Division Series against the Atlanta Braves on 7 October because of a sore lower back, manager Dave Roberts said.

Roberts said the Dodgers were delaying a decision on a possible injured-list stint, which could affect Rojas’s availability for a potential next series. His status beyond Game 4 remains uncertain.

Rojas left Game 3 in the eighth inning after grimacing during a swing. He later said he had felt tightness in his lower back during a diving stop earlier in the game.

Tommy Edman and Kiké Hernández are options to cover infield positions. Alex Freeland and Alex Call could also be considered if Rojas does not improve, according to Yahoo Sports.
