DJI spin-off Amflow unveils TL series e-bike with 200kg capacity and modular power
Priced at €3,499 in Europe and £3,199 in the UK, the TL series offers extensive cargo options and smart integration, though US pricing remains unconfirmed.
Amflow, the electric bicycle brand spun out of drone manufacturer DJI, has officially launched its TL series, a utility-focused e-bike marketed as an “eSUV” for both urban commuting and off-road adventures. The new model is built around the company’s Avinox M2 mid-drive system, delivering 125Nm of torque and up to 1100W of peak output. Designed to handle varied terrain, the TL series features full suspension, wide knobby tyres, and a total weight capacity of 200kg.
The vehicle’s powertrain utilises a modular battery architecture, starting with an 800Wh removable unit that can be paired with a 480Wh extender to reach a total of 1280Wh. An optional charging hub is available, capable of sequentially charging up to four batteries. This configuration supports a bike weight as low as 22.6kg, positioning it as a lightweight option for a full-suspension utility machine.
Amflow has equipped the TL series with extensive cargo capabilities, including standard mudguards, integrated lights, and a rear rack rated for 27kg. An optional front rack adds another 20kg of capacity. The rear of the bike is compatible with the MIK HD mounting system, allowing for the attachment of child seats, panniers, or trailers, while the front fork and rear suspension are designed to absorb trail ruts and potholes.
Beyond mechanical utility, the TL series incorporates several digital features, including electronic shifting that reduces torque during gear changes to protect the chain on steep inclines. The system also integrates with Apple Find My for location tracking, heart rate sensors for assisted pacing, and DJI’s Osmo cameras for direct recording control from the bike’s display.
Pricing for the Amflow TL series is set at €3,499 in Europe and £3,199 in the UK. Amflow has stated that global availability is expected later this year, though specific shipping dates and US pricing have not yet been announced.
