Criterion Collection spring sale offers 30 per cent discount on over 1,000 titles
The promotion, reported by The Verge, covers titles from more than 600 directors, including new releases and collector editions.

The Criterion Collection has launched a spring sale offering a 30 per cent discount on all discs available on its website. According to a report by The Verge, a Vox Media property, the promotion runs through May 25, 2026. The discount applies to every disc on the site, spanning standard Blu-rays, 4K releases, box sets, and pre-order items.
The sale covers more than 1,000 titles from over 600 directors. The inventory includes Hollywood classics, international cinema, indie favourites, documentaries, concert films, and arthouse movies. Featured items include the 2025 Oscar Best Picture winner Anora, directed and written by Sean Baker, as well as The Wes Anderson Archive box set.
The Wes Anderson Archive collects the director’s films from Bottle Rocket through The French Dispatch in a 20-disc trove. The set includes every film on Blu-ray and 4K Blu-ray, along with over 25 hours of special features and 10 illustrated booklets containing essays and interviews.
Other highlighted titles in the sale include Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon, Ken Russell’s Altered States, and Wong Kar-wai’s In the Mood for Love. The collection also features John Hughes’ The Breakfast Club, Akira Kurosawa’s Seven Samurai, Rob Reiner’s This Is Spinal Tap, and Bong Joon Ho’s Parasite.
The Verge noted that the sale provides an opportunity for collectors to expand their physical media libraries at a reduced cost. The publication, which may earn a commission from purchases made through its links, highlighted the breadth of the discount across various categories of film history.
