The Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions have reportedly contacted the Pittsburgh Steelers about cornerback Joey Porter Jr.’s availability, according to CBS Sports, citing ESPN and other reporting. No trade has been confirmed, and Pittsburgh’s willingness to deal him is unknown.
Porter has missed the Steelers’ first three games amid a contract standoff and a reported back injury. The reporting does not establish what has caused his absences.
