Cards Against Humanity crowdfunds monument to annoy Elon Musk
The company behind the vulgarity-focused card game has launched a campaign to build a monument on land it owns, aiming to provoke introspection in the billionaire entrepreneur.

Cards Against Humanity has launched a crowdfunding initiative to construct a monument on a parcel of land it owns near Starbase, Texas, with the explicit aim of annoying Elon Musk. The campaign, promoted via an Instagram post, invites supporters to pay $10 to join the 'Official Elon Musk is a Sad Little Bitch With No Friends Monument Design Committee'.
The company describes the project as a means to provoke a moment of introspection in Musk, whom it refers to using highly offensive language in its promotional materials. The campaign website, SadLittleBitchWithNoFriends.com, states that the goal is to build "a grand monument" that will make the billionaire wonder if he is a "sad little bitch with no friends."
This initiative follows a long-standing dispute between the card game publisher and Musk’s ventures. Cards Against Humanity purchased the land in 2017 specifically to disrupt President Donald Trump’s plans to build a US/Mexico border wall. In 2024, the company sued SpaceX, alleging that the aerospace manufacturer had trespassed on and damaged its property.
The current campaign is seeking both funding and community input to determine the final design of the structure. As of the announcement on 14 August 2026, no specific design or timeline for completion has been confirmed, with the company asking fans to help decide what should be built on the land.
Cards Against Humanity is known for similar stunts involving vulgarity and disruption. The company is currently asking its supporters to join the movement to design and build what it calls the "perfect monument" to force a moment of introspection upon the world’s richest and ugliest little bitch.
