Jaylen Brown says the Philadelphia 76ers are still working out how to play together, as training camp continues. He described the early days as a period of adjustment for players learning the team’s system and one another.

Speaking to Yahoo Sports, Brown said he was getting acquainted with the club’s staff and system while players worked to get on the same page. He said it was only three days into camp.

Brown said younger teammates had asked him questions and joined his workouts. He welcomed the chance to help them, saying he had also been a player who sought advice.

On court, Brown said the group was working on spacing, positioning and when to attack. He said the team was still figuring out how to balance his play with that of teammates, including when to move towards the rim and when to give a big man room in the post.

Brown said finding that balance could take time, but he was looking forward to the process. His comments describe his assessment of the team’s early camp work.
