Boston United secure goalkeeper Louis Chadwick for 2026-27 campaign
Chadwick, who joined from King's Lynn Town in March 2026, makes two appearances as Boston finish 12th in the table.

Boston United have confirmed that goalkeeper Louis Chadwick has signed a new one-year contract extension, securing his position at the National League club for the 2026-27 season. The move formalises the retention of the 23-year-old player, who arrived at the Pilgrims from King's Lynn Town in March 2026.
Chadwick’s tenure with Boston United has been brief but structured within the club’s recent squad planning. Since his arrival in March, the goalkeeper has made two appearances for the team. His time on the pitch coincided with the conclusion of the previous league campaign, during which Boston United finished in 12th place in the National League table.
The contract extension represents a continuity decision by the club’s management, prioritising squad stability for the upcoming season. By locking in Chadwick for another year, Boston United ensures cover in the goalkeeping position as they prepare for the challenges of the National League’s 2026-27 fixture list.
Chadwick’s professional journey includes a stint at Cambridge United, where he began his career but did not secure a first-team breakthrough. Prior to his move to King's Lynn Town in 2025, he gained experience through a loan spell at St Neots. His progression through these clubs has culminated in his current role at Boston United.
The financial terms of the new agreement have not been disclosed. The focus remains on the structural aspect of the deal, which keeps a young goalkeeper within the club’s system for the immediate future. This signing follows the club’s 12th-place finish, indicating a strategy of retaining existing talent rather than pursuing high-profile external acquisitions at this stage.
