Best Buy slashes $190 on Acer Chromebook Plus Spin 514 in one-day sale
The discount coincides with promotions on Anker chargers and Nintendo gift cards at Sam's Club.
Best Buy is running a one-day promotion on the Acer Chromebook Plus Spin 514, reducing the price from $749 to $559. The sale is valid for the remainder of the day and applies to the configuration equipped with 12GB of RAM, a MediaTek Kompanio Ultra 910 processor, and 256GB of UFS storage.
The device is a 2-in-1 convertible featuring a 14-inch 1920 x 1200 120Hz IPS touchscreen that folds back into tablet mode. It includes a tactile keyboard and a mechanical trackpad, though it does not come with a stylus, supporting any USI 2.0 model instead.
Most Chromebooks typically ship with 8GB of RAM, making the 12GB configuration on the Spin 514 notable for users requiring greater multitasking capacity. The device was reviewed in October 2025 by Antonio G. Di Benedetto, who praised its Arm-based processor and day-plus battery life.
Also discounted at Best Buy is Lenovo’s Chromebook Plus 14, priced at $649, down from $999. This model shares the same processor and storage capacity but offers 16GB of RAM, an OLED screen, superior speakers, and fingerprint biometric support.
The retailer’s promotion coincides with other concurrent deals, including a discount on Anker’s four-port 140W wall charger and a 20 percent reduction on Nintendo gift cards at Sam's Club.
