Bayern Munich are aiming to sell defender Hiroki Ito when the January transfer window opens, according to Kicker. The club has not directly confirmed the reported plan, and no potential buyer or acceptable price has been identified.
If a suitable offer does not arrive in January, Ito could leave in the summer, a year before his contract expires. The report says the 27-year-old has made one appearance for Bayern this season, playing 10 minutes.
Bayern signed Ito from VfB Stuttgart in 2024 for a reported €23.5 million. His limited playing time this season accompanies the reported effort to find a buyer.
The club also sought to sell right-back Sacha Boey during the summer window but found no buyer. Boey joined from Galatasaray in January 2024 for a reported €30 million and has two years left on his contract.
