ASUS expands Windows portfolio with new ExpertBook and Zenbook lines at Computex
The tech giant unveiled a range of new laptops including the ExpertBook B5 Flip G2 and three Zenbook 14 variants, signalling a continued shift towards ARM-based architectures in the corporate sector.

ASUS has announced a suite of new Windows laptops at Computex, reinforcing its presence in both the enterprise and consumer markets. The announcement includes the ExpertBook B5 Flip G2, the ExpertBook P5 G2, the PM5 G2, and three distinct models within the Zenbook 14 series. These releases highlight a strategic diversification across processor architectures, catering to varying performance and efficiency requirements for business users.
The ExpertBook B5 Flip G2 is positioned as a versatile convertible device, weighing 2.9 pounds and featuring a 360-degree touchscreen. Powered by an Intel Core 7 350 processor with an 18 TOPS neural processing unit, the device supports up to 32GB of LPDDR5X memory and 1TB of PCIe 4.0 storage. It includes an MPP 2.0 stylus with a dedicated charging garage and is scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2026.
For users requiring enhanced durability, the ExpertBook P5 G2 and PM5 G2 models adhere to MIL-STD-810H standards, ensuring resilience against vibration, moisture, and temperature extremes. The P5 G2 utilises an Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor 356H, while the 16-inch PM5 G2 is driven by an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX processor offering 55 TOPS of neural acceleration. Both models weigh approximately 3.04 pounds and are expected to arrive later this quarter.
The Zenbook 14 series demonstrates ASUS’s commitment to multi-architecture support, with three models offering Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm Snapdragon options. The ARM64 variant, the UX3480QA, runs on a Snapdragon X X1 26 100 processor and weighs just 2.43 pounds, benefiting from reduced battery requirements. It features a 1,920 x 1,200 OLED display and up to 16GB of memory.
The x86 counterparts, the UX3480AA and UX3480GA, offer higher-end specifications with Intel Core Ultra 9 and AMD Ryzen AI 9 processors respectively. These models support up to 24GB of memory and feature OLED displays with refresh rates up to 120Hz. ASUS also revealed the Vivobook S14 Flip and S16 Flip, which utilise Snapdragon X processors to deliver over 20 hours of battery life and support 68-watt fast charging.
Pricing and specific availability dates for the Zenbook 14 and Vivobook models have not yet been disclosed, with ASUS indicating that details will be announced at a later date. The ExpertBook B5 Flip G2 remains the only model with a confirmed launch window, targeting the third quarter of 2026.
