Arteta signs Arsenal contract through to 2030
The manager’s previous deal was due to expire at the end of this season. Arsenal’s co-chairmen say he is committed to building on the club’s achievements.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has signed a new contract with the club until 2030, BBC Sport reported on Wednesday. The agreement had previously been reported as reached, while his previous deal was due to expire at the end of this season.
Arteta said he felt “a great sense of privilege” that his journey with Arsenal would continue. He described the club’s future potential as “only the beginning” of what they could achieve together.
Co-chairmen Stan and Josh Kroenke said they were proud of what the club had achieved with Arteta since his return in 2019, and said he was committed to building on it.
Arteta joined Arsenal in December 2019. During his tenure, the club has won a Premier League title and an FA Cup, and lost the Champions League final to Paris St-Germain in May.
The deal could keep Arteta at Arsenal for a decade if he remains for its full term. Salary and bonus figures reported by BBC Sport were not presented as club-confirmed contract terms.
