Powered by Apple Intelligence and Foundation Models developed in collaboration with Google, the system utilises Private Cloud Compute to protect user data. The beta is available across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, CarPlay, AirPods, Apple TV, and Vision Pro.

Private Cloud Compute is employed to ensure user personal data is not stored or accessible to Apple. Early tests of the developer version showed improved capabilities in finding photos, summarising group texts, adding calendar appointments from texts, and providing local event or news information. The developer betas this year have been described as fairly stable, making the public beta easier to recommend than in previous years.
Siri was officially announced at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference in June 2026. The revamped Siri is positioned as a response to competitors such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude.
